This is the first experience I had of hospice and it was awful. When we first signed up we asked if we would receive written updates to the family, such as a text message or email and were told that this would happen. It never did. Two days before our dad died he was exhibiting unusual behavior. I called the hospice and left a message. No one returned my call. Falsified Medical Records. Made assumptions. Deliberately showed the utmost contempt as well as rude and ineffective response to a potential new patient. When you claim you call and the call logs do not substantiate your calls to a patient's son, it gives you a bad light.

They say 13 months of free grief counseling if you end your family members life with them but unless you want to hunt them down for the appointment while you’re going through overwhelming grief don’t believe it. I had so much hope and it’s sad to deal with this.

My experience with this hospice company during my mother’s final days was extremely disappointing. My mother had a sudden health decline and was placed in a facility that used this hospice provider by default, so we did not have a choice. It took eight days after her admission before I heard from hospice. The initial nurse was kind and responsive, but once she went on vacation, communication and care coordination fell apart.
