worst doctor ever .. i went a few years back to her when I was having dicciculty with my skin. I was in my teens and she put me on medicine that would prevent me from having kids - did not tell me at all! My regular doctor found ut and wanted to call her directly for doing so... horrible doctor. Rude as well.
I find Dr. Cooper to be a good dermatologist for common skin problems. Anything requiring skin cancer surgery with minimal scarring, see the top doc in this practice, Dr. Bisaccia. She paid a settlement of $ 3M in 2002, so she must have done something wrong. The entire practice has a front office staff that treats contacting their doctors for test results - only the Dr. can give them to you they tell you - or phone consultations like a fortress. Not a patient-friendly approach and frankly VERY frustrating.
Saw her to have a growth removed. Took a big chunk of skin and I was unhappy with the result. I should have had a plastic surgeon do the work, she did a poor job.
I got paperwork in advance to make it easy for my husband to manage 2 young boys being seen 1st visit. Forms filled out in advance and my husband inadvertantly took the wrong diaper bag and forgot the completed forms. He had medical cards and referals. He told the receptionist what happenned and asked if he could please fax the forms or mail them when he got home. NO! Then he asked if they could fax the papers to me for me to quickly fill out and he would sign them. NO! Because there was NOTHING for children to read, play or... read more
Dr. Cooper was extremely helpful and sucessful in treating a skin condition I had. So helpful that I would and have referred her to others.
Awful. Rushed through my procedure. Had three other patients scheduled the same time as I was. Barely made eye contact. Didn't seem to care at all. Don't go to her.
