Interesting to see the comments about Dr. Cooper's rudeness. I always found her very abrupt and she spends so little time with you, you have to wonder how she could possibly spot any problem moles. I began scheduling appointments with the nurse practioner who was nicer, spent more time inspecting for suspicious moles and answered questions patiently and with compassion.
I was appalled at the article in the Morristown Daily record for rateMD.com. They used 2 MDs and that was not fair considering all the local doctors offered. Dr Cooper found 2 skin cancers on me in a short amount of time. This Dr is considered to be a top diagnostion. If you want someone to hold your hand and coo at you during your visit, then she is not the one. She is looking out for your well being. And watching your skin for issues at all times. God Bless Dr Cooper
She saved my life. She diagnosed a small spot as suspicious. It was Melanoma. I could have died. Bless her she is gifted.
I was advised by my family doctor to take my father to see Dr. Cooper. She never "saw" him because she never looked up at him or spoke with him or with me. She spoke only to her assistant and was in and out of the office in a manner of minutes. I have gone to other specialists who although busy are human beings and take the time to smile, speak, and get to know you. I would not use her or recommend her.
I went for a body scan and she spend about two seconds looking examinig me. I told her about a suspcious bump on my face that I wanted her to look at and she asked me what the difference with my pimples on my chin. It turned out to be basal cell.
I found her to be a fine dermatologist, however she was extremely rude. I felt I was very rushed and that she didn't really care at all. Bedside manor was horrible.
Consistently rude, although you'd hardly realize it because she spent a whole 3 minutes with me. I went in for acne (as I have been at that clinic, seeing different doctors, for the past few years) and she didn't even look at my face! I told her the medicine wasn't working and was making my skin dry, red, and stinging, she said it wasn't. She said either go on pills (I had previous said absolutely no pills) or put on the topical treatment less frequently, although then it wouldn't help with acne. (?!?!) Useless.
Dr. Cooper is one of the rudest people i've ever encountered. i went to her for acne problems when i was a teenager and had difficulty swallowing pills. she prescribed me a pill despite my stated difficulty swallowing and told me to "get over it."
Mean spirited and inept. She mutilated my daughter's arm and then blamed it on her skin! Another doctor, was shocked by the result. Don't go to her. I don't know why they allow her to practice.
