I've been to several urgent cares in this area. One of them I kept going to because they are affiliated with the hospital we use. However, I haven't had the best experiences there and wanted to try somewhere else and a bit closer. This was absolutely the best experience. 🙌🏼 There was genuine care and compassion behind each person I interacted with. The check-in process was a breeze, the cost was extremely affordable, and the staff was incredible. Thank you so much, AFC Urgent Care of South Asheville! 💛
Re: American Family Care -Urgent Care - Arden NC My husband found this place online and set up an appointment on Saturday morning after I had failed several times in getting in touch with my regular doctors office. I was given an appointment at 8:10 am that same morning! I hardly waited 5 minutes before I was taken back. The nursing assistant came in immediately, took vitals and the NP came in within 5 minutes. I am highly impressed with our experience using AFC urgent care recently. After we checked in, we only waited 2-3 minutes and were seen right away. Each staff person we interacted with was kind and attentive. PA Sara did a wonderful job with my kiddo. I appreciate how she fully explained what she saw and took time to provide education and answer our questions, never rushing us. The clinic was very clean and well organized. Definitely a well run urgent care!
I have never had a pleasant experience with urgent care until I came here. The staff was so friendly and compassionate, the doctor took the time to listen and value what I had to say, and they were not gouging costs for things I did not need. It was incredibly helpful to go get the help I needed and feel like I was actually helped and cared for, and that it didn't break the bank even though I do not have insurance. I would recommend anyone needing urgent care to come to this location. Thank you.
A nice team met me and my daughter as we arrived at this new, clean and organized urgent care facility. Love that we could book in advance. The technician and NP who saw us were both thorough and knowledgeable. So nice to have a great place to go when you need some quick answers and your doctor has no immediate availability.
