Complete scam. They will upcode your bill to charge you the most amount they can. I went in for a 13-minute appointment and they coded my doctor’s visit as a “long visit”. Avoid AFC Urgent Care!
I received excellent care at this location from everyone, and it was a very speedy visit. My only concern is shady billing tactics. I paid my co-pay on the day of the visit and today, I received 2 text messages for additional payments. I checked the insurance claim and it was clear, I didn't owe this amount. I called their billing department and they admitted to being the wrong while using the most jargon and double speak I've ever heard. Dr Smith was incredible, Great bedside manner. They accepted my insurance and the admin process was pretty simple.
I've always had a super good experience here and appreciate them. They're always, really nice and they have pretty much everything that's needed to do. Most of the acute visits every once in a while. You might be sent to the hospital, but those are for major things that are going on. They still have most equipment and full diagnostic and lab reporting and testing. They're super quick, and everybody's always very welcoming.And nice
