A few very old coal units, (built in the 1960s), that need to be retired. This power plant contributes to poor air quality in downwind cities in the Ohio Valley, including Louisville. EDIT: Update, 2 units are now retiring in 2023. The other two need to be retired, and IPL needs to figure out that all other sources are far cleaner and cheaper than burning coal like it is 1950.
