The owner of the company met with me at my home, took photos of the roof by climbing onto the roof, provided an estimate of the cost to replace the roof -including the costs of stripping off all of the shingles and underlying tar paper and the costs of new tar paper, shingles, and the removal of the old materials. I was able to hire the company without a down payment/retainer and paid half of the agreed upon amount at the start of the work and the balance at the completion of the job.
