I was having some tenderness on my big toe before going on a trip that was going to be very active and wanted to have it looked at. Dr. Church barely listened to me, said it was best to just take my entire toenail off, I said my toenail is fine and that seems a bit aggressive, he didn't give me options or explain why he thought that was best, just made some remark about "I'm the doctor." My first appointment at Advanced Foot and Ankle Center was on August 5 with Dr Buch for plantar fasciitis. I followed the directions I received for wearing more supportive footwear, and icing and stretching regularly. I bought one of their orthothotic inserts and used it. After 3 weeks I wasn't making any progress. So, I scheduled another appointment and saw Dr Buch again on August 26. At this appointment she asked me if I was wearing the splint.
