Thanks to Dr Legel I can walk without pain again. It took one visit and my Plantar Fasciitis is so much better. My only wish is I had gone earlier. I was in and out in 45 minutes too!

Let's talk about hallux limitus today! Hallux limitus/rigidus means "big toe arthritis" and is actually deterioration of the cartilage surface of your big toe joint. It usually occurs on the metatarsal side, but can involve both feet as well. In this intra-operative photograph, you can see that the top half of the cartilage surface has been worn away. With this much damage, I often recommend a toe joint replacement. Patients are able to walk on it right away, and are back to normal (running, biking, etc) in about 2-3 months.... read more

Big Feet? I wear a size 13-14, depending upon the shoe. Look how small my custom inserts are compared to one of my favorite patient's that I saw last month. Look how his orthotics dwarf my feet. That's a size 16 9E. See if you can find those on the shelf at your local shoe store. And you thought you had big feet...
