She completed an internal medicine residency at Rush Presbyterian-St. Luke's Medical Center and a dermatology residency at Wayne State University, where she was the Chief Resident. She received additional training through a one-year fellowship in Mohs surgery at the Stough Clinic in Arkansas. Her special interests include skin cancer surgery, Mohs micrographic surgery, and reconstructive surgery.

I had an appointment with Dr. Horton but she had to do a surgery that day. Her assistant was rude, rushing to finish , not want to be a intrupted and voiding my questions. This was my 1st visit.
If you suspect a skin cancer or have a sore that heals and comes back, I recommend seeing Dr. Horton. If it is cancerous, she will find and fix it. The possibility of it coming back is minute.
Dr. Horton is a wonderful doctor. She is so polite and makes you feel like she cares. Her staff is kind and very helpful. After her long work day she called to see how I was doing. Thank you so much for getting all my skin cancer.Thank you to all the nurses and staff that made me feel at ease. Have great day!
Dr. Horton is the simple the best. Her biyearly body scans have always caught my skin cancers early enough to continue to save my life. She takes care of my entire family and will never be able to pay her back for her knowledge and kindness. Her staff is second to none. Their care and kindness, genuine concern for me and my comfort are outstanding. It is their culture, from the top down, it is not an act.
Dr. Horton and staff did a great job. They made a bad situation tolerable.
