Honest and hardworking. They stay within quote and take the time to FIX it right the first time. I like this garage.
good place – Top of the line alinement machine and get this..... a guy who knows how to use it, really, and not just by reading the text on the screen. They understand what they are doing!
A lot has changed in a year – I used to like this place, but now I go in for one thing and they want me to fix a bunch of other stuff....not sure how much I trust them anymore

Super honest – The guys at Advanced were awesome! I went to get a diagnostic done (which is super expensive) and the guys figured out the problem in half the time so only charged me half for the diagnostic! Then they filled up my oil for free and advised me of 2 more major problems that could pop up. No hidden costs, no talking me into more repairs, and excellent advice.
Excellent Customer Service & Honesty – I chosed Advanced Auto based on the excellent online reviews I found. I've only lived in Austin 6 weeks and am always apprehensive about finding a good, honest, knowledgeable auto shop with good pricing. I seemed to be having an issue with tire balancing, but for all I knew the cause could have been something more expensive - all I knew was my car was shaking a lot and replacing a front tire didn't fix the problem. Friendly, honest, no-pressure auto shop. – First thing I noticed was the large, clean, modern waiting room, with a computer and huge LCD TV for the customers. Not essential, but an extra mile I appreciate them going. The most important thing to me was that they quoted me a price over the phone and that was exactly what I paid in the end. Above and Beyond Service – I stopped in for an oil change and was welcomed with a clean environment and very professional service. Unfortunately, my car needed some extra work, but I was completely informed of all the details and ASKED if I would be able to continue. No pressure, lots of information. Being female, I am immediately apprehensive when mechanics approach me. I did take the time to call around for quotes on the work needed and Advanced Automotive was the best deal!
Did work that we did not authorize – My husband brought our car in for brakes and tires. We were quoted a price and told that we had an oil leak and they would repair that as well, we said okay. When we went to pick up the car, we were told that it was not actually an oil leak, it was something else (the guy said he was thinking of the other repair but said we had an oil leak...?) How could an independent Auto shop, like these guys, be in business for over 20 years and still have great business and the same customers coming back again and again?
