Seems like he just jumped on PANDAS bandwagon. Long long wait. Then he tested all 6 people in my family so he could bill us. You can't CURE strep carriers. It comes back. He should know that. Its not like whole family is on abx so if someone is a carrier they will become so again. I don't know about his success rate with IVIG but the long term abx is not curative. Also, why the hour long wait every time? I think he cares but jumped on pandas bandwagon and has no knowledge of other infectious agents.
Horrible always takes you over an hour late.
Great md. Great staff. The infusion center is so great and hwlpful
Dr Bouboulis changed my sons life. He is doing fantastic. The infusion center has been fabulous. It has been a lot busier then it was a year ago. Sometimes tough to get an appointment, worth the wait. I have my son back.
Dr. B and staff are all wonderful, the infusion center is fantastic. They help everyone as much as they can. The insurance companies are the ones that are th problem. They have a fabulous study going on for those that qualify for the IVIG. The clinicians there are great and helpful.
We came from out of state to see Dr. Bouboulis. He is wonderful! His staff was very nice, even made sure my kids were well occupied. They couldn't have been nicer. We expected a long wait, and only had to wait about 25 minutes. We've been trying to figure out what was wrong with my daughter for 8 months, no other doctors would do blood work or really look into anything. Horrible staff. Why schedule appointments and keep people waiting over an hour as routine? I went here for PANDAS and he is knowledgeable but so far no improvement. Cant be reached by phone which is unfair to out of state people
While Dr. Bouboulis may be a very good Dr. his office staff is a mess! It is often nearly impossible to get through to the phone line, insurance is constantly denied because of the incompetence of the staff (which they will say they corrected but it is the same old problems-Don't believe them!) I left them for that reason, and so did many other people. It was a horrible experience. I will go to a Dr. in NYC that provides the same service with better results.
