Scam company. Disastrous customer service. Nightmare to cancel. Avoid!!
ADT servicer Safe Haven uses deceptive tactics, just look at their Yelp page and you will see 32 versions of the same story. They even were fined $125k after a lawsuit for deceptive practices. ADT should be ashamed to be affiliated with this company.
I was moved over from Ackerman when ADT acquired the company. Definitely not the same level of personal service and I decided to switch after being on hold for a renovation. They made canceling my account a real pain, with long wait times to get a hold of an agent. Ended up charging me for service when I didn't even had the system on and wouldn't refund me. Not very good customer service!
This is about ADT and its Techicians. Don't use this company or its services. I've been a customer for 20 years when it was called Protection One. When ADT purchased them, down hill went this service and the integrity of the company. ADT will violate your privacy. I just found out ADT is being sued for invading the privacy of its customers, look it up. Today, my private property interior was photographed without my permission by the technician. This is about ADT Corporate, you cannot cancel your account without calling the customer service option, which has no options and no guidance on hold timing. When you finally do talk to someone they will bounce you between departments until you get to a “relocation specialist” who will try to sell you on staying with the security service. Credit to mine he did not try to hard sell me, but this is an unbelievably frustrating process to cancel a $30 a month account. Never using them again,
