Never use ADT. They make it impossible to cancel service. It’s 2025…let folks cancel service via the app.
Damn glad I didn't opt for the Google camera package I was offered after reading these reviews! The district manager reached out to me regarding my 2 camera quote...almost $1,000 for equipment and installation AND $12 PER MONTH EXTRA IN ADDITION TO THE $48 I PAY MONTHLY FOR PULSE! I declined his help. Found much cheaper and better alternatives with NO monthly or yearly fees. You can do better...ADT is not it. There's a wealth of options out there!
0 stars. What ever you do, DO NOT use ADT. Their sales agent Leone Tom-James promised 3 months of monitoring credit, never followed through. As soon as cancellation period passes, he ignores your text and call about the 3 months monitoring credit. Despite all this documented in writing. This is their scam tactic to get you on contract. Absolutely unethical, this is also condoned by their manager. Complaints have been filed against ADT via BBB, attorney general office and also FTC to investigate them. Again, do not use ADT.
ADT promised to reimburse an early termination fee after I transferred my contract to new tenants—then backed out, claiming their system “didn’t allow it.” They treated the transfer as a cancellation and new activation to avoid the refund. A supervisor guaranteed reimbursement in 10 days—never happened. Dishonest and manipulative. Be warned.
