Honestly very poorly handled phone calls by sales team, hyping me up with great deals but their transaction portion of the sale is worse than a Indian scammer asking for gift cards. I tried using a Wells Fargo bank card, a mastercard, and a debit card. Even a routing and account number. Nothing worked for a meager 10 bucks. Offering good service for 50 bucks. How good is it? We have been a customer for 33 years. It worked well. Last December, ADT sent us a flyer advertising an “upgrade,” which we purchased. There were problems from the beginning, in which the system was not armable. After multiple tech visits and hours on the phone, ADT simply will not stand behind their work. If your system is working OK, I would resist the urge to buy their upgrade. I wish I had not. Now I’m stuck under contract.
I had a whole conversation about my bill and what I wanted to change and the lady on the phone never mentioned that it would not impact the upcoming bill that was going to change us the next week or two. No help on the phone to get a refund. Not to mention, my service stopped working within a couple of months of having the system, so their cheap equipment doesn’t even work. If you want them to come fix THEIR defective equipment, you’re gonna pay hundreds of dollars. ALL IN ALL THEY ARE AN AWFUL COMPANY, THEY ARE CROOKS.
Adt has such horrible customers service. Tried to get my account canceled but with no help.
I feel compelled to share thoughts about this company after the harassment they subjected my 83 year old mother to during a time after my father died and subsequently decided she didnt have the funds to pay for the service. She contacted the ADT people many times to cancel the service. She called them to come out and pick up the nonfunctional equipment, another reason for canceling the service.
