Extremely disappointed and we feel scammed 100%. We used vivint prior, and we wanted to explore our options because vivint lagged a TINY bit. But I’d give anything to have vivint back. The camera footage with ADT sucks, it takes forever to load past activity, and don’t even bother checking the cameras in real time cause someone could break in and empty your entire house before the footage pulls up. Edit: ADT will just copy and paste a generic “we’re sorry, email your review here so we can assist you” reply to your review. I signed up for ADT expecting a premium home security experience, but it has been disappointing from the start. When I first spoke to an ADT rep over the phone, I was given a much lower quote than what I ended up paying. $48 a month is ridiculous. Been with them since 2005. My Pulse system is 8 years old now, but with crime being what it is in Houston, no one is going to respond to a home invasion alarm with urgency. I think that's it for me.
***Small Update after emailing adt they have further acknowledged what was promised and that they dropped the ball using corporate speak but that the time has passed i still requested it within 24 hours for a resolution and i have been promised several times a call from a branch manager in 7-10 days ,again they keep pushing the time line back to avoid making changes and then saying to much time passed . got a email back from alwaysthere@adt.com and they are lost with my calls find them only after i send screen shots Absolute... read more
