Editorial fromAdobo packs them in with its festive setting, lively bar and creative menu. Almost everyone starts with the guacamole, which is made tableside, down to the pitting of the avocado. The ceviche is first-rate, and the ensalada de jicama is…

Great & Relaxed – Went with a group of 7 (including one child) w/o reservations on a Sunday evening. Quick seating & excellent service set the tone for a very pleasant evening. Dishes ordered ranged from rice/beans to goat to vegetarian enchiladas. All dishes were generous, well-prepared, and tasty. My three-year-old daughter devoured her spaghetti with red sauce (unusual for her), and when I tasted, I found it was perfect (flavorful, not spicy, slightly sweet) for a small child. Lots of attention to detail in sauces (fresh ... read more
Great Guacamole – Adobo grill does have great guacamole. it is made tableside and it is fresh and delicious. it is only one avocado and primo priced at $7-8. dishes are pretty good here-it is upscale and portions arent large but prices are high. it does have the most extensive selections of tequila anywhere. very crowded almost all the time it seems.
Don't Go if You're Hungry – The guacamole was not served tableside and consisted of only one or two avocados. The portions were very small and terribly overpriced for what they were. The servers were rude and unnecessarily rushed the early evening meal. Homemade tortillas are made from corn not flour and like the appetizers and entrees, these tortillas are tiny. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.
Head down the Street to Salpicon – Went to Adobo Grill on Saturday night with friends. Everything was good, but by no means great. The exception to that was the fresh made guacomole. Entrees were good. I had the pork tenderloin with a dark mole sauce. The pork was very tender and the sauce was good. The spinach served with it was very good. Overall, I would recommend Salpicon over Adobo Grill. Atmosphere was nice and service was prompt.
Awesome! – The food at Adobo Grill is top-notch. Kudos to owner Paul LoDuca and his excellent staff. The guacamole is probably the best I've ever had!
Authentic Mexico in Old Town – The service, food, and drinks were excellent. The guacomole was to die for! The waiter was authentic and spent time answering our questions about the Mexican culture. This place is highly recommended.
Wonderful Guacamole! – I loved Adobo Grill - especially their freshly made guacamole that they make in front of you. Their margaritas were to die for as well.
Terrific – The food is amazing as well as the margheritas. Those of us with normal appetites find the amount more than adequate. I would recommend this to anyone who want slightly upscale mexican food.
