We have been going to Admiral's Quarters annually for approximately 20 years. The location and setting are spectacular. However, the quality of the individual condominium units can vary widely with respect to the upkeep of the insides and how the units are equipped. Many separate rental companies handle the various units and there does not seem to be any consistency with respect to demands from these companies to owners to maintain the quality of their respective properties. Admirals Quarters 26200 Perdido Beach Blvd. Orange Beach, AL 36561 Unit 1005 The unit smelled of mold and/or mildew when we entered it. Obviously, there has been water damage on the inside of this unit evidenced by water lines on some of the trim between the walls and floor. Swollen boards and quarter round wood along the baseboards have not been removed or replaced. There is one panel of wood next to the refrigerator that is split and swollen at the bottom of the board. It's nice knowing people with nice things. I got the invite to stay for a weekend. It's fairly similar to the other beach front condos in the area. Nice views, practically a private beach, plus pool and other amenities. I had a guest pass this time so parking wasn't an issue, but they do check. I turned my pass in while I was packing and found a nasty note on my car less than 20min later. Can't speak to costs as far as rental goes. It is loud though. One of the best condos for the money. Very roomy and great pool. Friendly staff, terrific location.
