Additional Self-Storage - Burton Road West, is taking advantage of automatic payment clients. I have had a storage unit there for years and was told that I am required to provide two weeks notice of vacating and cleaning our unit from the very beginning. Our unit is now cleaned and vacated ahead of when we anticipated. I went in to provide written notice of our vacating today, 9/11/2017, fully expecting to get the a pro-rated credit back for the rest of the month. The payments to this facility are automatically withdrawn from our account. I should be able to get a pro-rated amount back, right?. That, however, is not the case. Because our money is automatically withdrawn, once the money is out, it is out, and they do not issue refunds. So, Additional Self Storage - Burton Rd West has a unit they can rent immediately, two weeks ahead of our expected schedule to vacate. They will not give us money back. This business practice is flawed, to say the least. If I still wrote a check, I could have had a pro-rated amount deducted from my monthly payment. Poor service and flawed business practices.

I went through quite an ordeal this evening at this business. I was held against my will for about half an hour; and was then threatened with trespassing charges based on not having left the premises. I was loading a refrigerator by myself, and went past the "posted gate hours" by about 17 minutes. I was DENIED exit by the computerized keypad at the gate. In my attempt to exit, I triggered an alarm. When someone showed up, I was immediately informed that I was trespassing. When I attempted to reason with the guy that responded, he escalated the situation, telling me I should exit the premises via the person-gate, leaving both my truck, and the contents in the driveway. I have NEVER been denied exit, from ANY establishment after closing. Much less told to exit, while leaving my belongings. That would be, in my estimation, extortion of my truck and it's contents, based on trespass, when they WOULDN'T LET ME LEAVE?! Seriously, WTF people? I don't even want to imagine how this would have ended up, had I walked out that gate. If this is disputed, I have audio/visual evidence of this encounter, from my dashboard camera mounted in my truck.

Worst place ever!!!! Went to check my things in my storage. EVERYTHING IS MOLDED!!! There was a dead mouse!!! The hinges were totally rusted out and was super hard to get up... Asked for help and the man there had the audacity to tell me in a VERY AGGRESSIVE manner that, "I can't help you!!" Walking towards me with his fists balled.

ADDITIONAL SELF STORAGE VERY COURTIOUS 8/21/11 I was looking for good clean place to store my things close to my home at reasonable price and this fit my needs. The service is great and the people working there are super nice.
