Dr. Mabe botched my tubal ligation during a C-section in 2019. Instead of recognizing that my anatomy was not suitable for the procedure, he proceeded anyway, resulting in severely damaged tubes that filled with blood over the following years. This caused me seven years of severe, chronic pelvic pain. I cannot say enough positive things about my experience with Dr. Mabe. I went into my appointment nervous and honestly scared that my concerns about menopause would be dismissed, but instead I felt truly heard for the first time in a long time. Absolutely worst surgery scheduling ever
I only gave one star because this review won't post if none are selected. Dr. Mabe downplayed my issues every visit that I had with him. He told me that my symptoms were not severe enough to warrant a surgery that would confirm endometriosis and that a D&C was not for me because I wasn't old enough. I explicitly explained to this man that I have been seeking help for this issue for years and that I couldn't get the pain and symptoms to stop, or figure out what the root of the issue was.
