I am 6 months out of ankle replacement surgery with absolutely no pain. Dr Holthusen did an awesome job of replacing my ankle joint. I had been to quite a few doctors who said there was nothing that could be done for me. I had a lifetime of pain in my ankle, bone on bone, no cartilage left, maxed out on cortisone injections. Little hope to ever walk again, limping along with a very painful gait. Our daughter in law, told me about Dr. Holthusen. I would like to say Dr. Holthusen and the medical staff at TCO treated me very pr... read more

Botched my surgery. Choose the wrong procedure. Three other surgeons indicated that the procedure that Dr. Bakker recommended was a horrible decision based on the initial imaging. I had to have the finger re-broken and put me back 3 months. Additionally and clearly, I told Bakker the finger was going to never heal properly. As it turns out, I was correct and Dr. Bakker wanted to redo the surgery. I felt like Bakker was arrogant and was not willing to listen to me. In the end, I was right and Dr. Bakker never owned up to his... read more

He took care of my finger and gave me some great advice about my arthritis. They also managed to my ring off my swollen finger.

I really like that Dr. Claire tried an option of treatment other than jumping right to surgery. She is efficient and experienced, yet has a nice bedside manner.

Dr Sherman did a Microdiscectomy on me today. I walked in with constant nerve pain in my left leg making it hard to sit. I was also pretty nervous. Dr. Sherman calmed my nerves with his confidence that he was going to help me and man did he! I woke up sore of course but with zero nerve pain. I am walking better today after surgery than I have been able to in 2 months. Thank you Dr Sherman, Crosstown Surgery Center and all the amazing staff that helped me today!

He is the best hand surgeon that you could find. I broke my left wrist completely. He said both bones and put a reinforcing metal played on the larger of the two. My recovery was quick and complete. His staff guided me in all the Care and physical therapy that I needed to gain full mobility and strength. I would recommend them to anyone.

My surgery was on Thursday, 9/20 and my first therapy session was on Monday, 9/24 to take measurements of where my right hand was at that stage. She also gave me a sheet showing the exercise I needed to do for that week. I received a different exercise each week for 8 weeks. My last therapy was on Thursday, 11/15. 3 out of the 4 exercises I exceeded the target goal. The only reason I didn't exceed the 2nd exercise is because that is the one where I put my left hand on top of the right hand that had the surgery and press it ... read more
