Dr. Sherman always gets me in right away when I call and he is the only one I would trust with any of my back issues. Have recommended him to many people who are possibly facing back surgery.

Dr. Bakker is not only an excellent surgeon but a very kind person. His bedside manner couldn't be better. He listened to my explanation of personal issues and worked with me to limit my visits to the office and help me by giving results over the phone vs in an office visit. He did a TFCC repair on my left hand in 2018 and on my right wrist in 2019. He and his staff were understanding and patient when I called with questions and concerns. And as an added perk, I have virtually no visible scarring.

I can't say enough good about Dr. Bakker, good hand and elbow doctors are hard to find but Dr Bakker is truly one of a kind, he is compassionate, caring and understanding. I highly recommended Dr Banker if you are looking or a good hand and elbow specialist., he has changed my life and is still working on it. Lisa Blesi Kurvers

I saw Dr. Sherman for spinal stenosis and he performed a fusion at L3-4. My leg pain, which had been debilitating for the 3 months prior to surgery , was totally resolved with the surgical procedure. Prior to surgery I had experienced back and leg pain for several years, but was able to keep symptoms minimal with exercise and physical therapy. In the months prior to surgery I was no longer able to get relief with conservative measures. Dr. Sherman was very assuring and attentive to my concerns before and after surgery and he... read more

I broke my wrist last winter. My daughter-in-law is an RN and she relied on her network to research hand surgeons. Dr. Adam Bakker came highly recommended. From our first meeting, to the surgery, to our final meeting, I was impressed with Dr. Bakker's manner, kindness, expertise and skill. I couldn't recommend a doctor more highly than I recommend Dr. Bakker. All staff members were welcoming and professional. I felt I was not just in good hands, but great hands.

I initially thought I should wait until the cast came off before doing this review, but I felt I'd probably forget by then. From the initial appointment thru the surgery, I had complete confidence in the outcome. I still can't believe that I have no pain after the surgery. That alone tells me he did a great job.

I just completed my 6 month follow up after a fusion at L 4/5. I'm now walking 2.5 miles 5 days a week with no back pain - GREAT RESULT! Dr. Sherman selected the correct procedure for my indication (spinal stenosis secondary to spondylolisthesis ) and did a great operation.

Dr. Holthusen was recommended by the Waconia ER in November 2017 when I had a compound break in my ankle. He carefully diagnosed and discussed an immediate plan the first time we visited with him and I felt very confident in his recommendation -- plate and screws placed in ankle. Now in April 2019 broke my leg -- fractured tibia where it connects to the knee -- bone that attaches the ACL. I would highly recommend Dr. Scott Holthusen and the staff at TCO. Dr. Holthusen takes the time to listen carefully to his patient and ens... read more

I have had two surgeries performed by Dr. Bakker. Both times, he was considerate, patient, and thorough in his explanations. He is thoughtful and while completely professional, he is personable and unpretentious.
