The cartilage at the base of my left thumb was gone. My thumb was dislocating of its own will and I had lost significant range of motion. Simple tasks had become painful. Dr. Bakker performed carpometacarpal joint arthroplasty on my left thumb. It is now twelve weeks after surgery. Pain has been minimal, and visual remnants of the surgery are nearly gone. Highly recommend Dr. Bakker, Very professional surgeon and excellent staff working with him. Results from shoulder surgery are very promising so far, certainly this starts with diagnosis and surgery performed. Dr. Bakker and his entire staff were quick responding to question asked, often responding to an inquiry the same day.
Wonderful physician. Had great results with my finger contracture with him. Very personable and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend him to everyone.

Had an excellent experience with Dr. Bakker - smashed my wrist to bits thanks to him was able to not only function well through the recovery but have a fully functional, pain free wrist today. Highly recommend him.
Dr Bakker was amazing. I have had 3 surgical procedures done by him. 2 were scheduled 1 was an emergency. His staff, mainly males were a little rough. The aftercare was great. Dr Bakker was very professional and I would recommend him to anyone. I would use him time and time again
Dr. Bakker is very warm and knowledgeable. We had a very good outcome with our son's fracture. I rate his staff very poorly because the younger assistant on different occasions would not acknowledge our presence at the counter, was curt with us and would not show my husband to the exam room where my son and I were waiting - all while chatting about non-work related matters with her coworkers.
