TV and heating didn't work, was freezing cold, 5 degrees with 2 thin blankets, power went off and the staff couldn't fix it
A lovely hotel in a great location
Reception staff were excellent and happy to accommodate my early check in request. Room was spotless, comfortable and well priced. Deducted a star because the hot water in my shower wasn’t working properly.
It has been a very convenient and good hotel to stay in on our travels to Adelaide few times a year. Staff are always friendly and helpful. Unfortunately with new management they have now changed the rules not allowing pets to stay at this hotel which comes as a major disappointment! I hope you will reverse that decision being a responsible pet owner.
I have mixed feelings about this hotel. Pros: room is larger than the standard room in other four-star hotels. The building is very historical and nicely decorated. During my stay, most hotel patrons were older people which was a good thing for me, as they were very quiet and I had sound sleep. Cons: toothbrush set is not free, you have to buy it.
