This place is such a joke. My home builder calls them to file a claim about brand A heater and Acuity calls brand B to get info on what’s wrong. Why wouldn’t you call the authorized dealer? No wonder so many companies are jumping ship and this dumps rating is in the tank. DO NOT INSURE WITH THESE PEOPLE

Business response:

Hello, Ken. We do appreciate your input and feedback. If you send me an email at customercare@acuity.com with your policy or claim number, I'd be happy to look into his for you. Thanks. Michael with Acuity.

Was in contact with this company numerous time over the past two weeks not helpful and hard to deal with. You call and ask for your agent and days will pass before you get a return call. Not happy at all and would not recommend them!

Business response:

Had a 40ft willow oak tree fall on our back house/garage destroying it along with both of our vehicles, power lines, and a neighbor’s home as well. But because this happened on a Friday during a holiday weekend we have not been able to reach anyone regarding the claim. This company prioritizes their time off and holidays over client’s emergencies. Do not expect to receive any help during times of tragedy from Acuity.

Business response:

Hi Stephanie, our claims department is looking into the situation and will get back to you as soon as possible. Please call us any hour of the day at 800.242.7666 to talk about this further. Thank you!

As the pandemic continues many insurance companies are helping their customers. I see no help or assistance from Acuity. This shows which companies care for their customers and those are the companies I will be using for my insurance needs.

Business response:

Hello, Alyce. From all of us at Acuity, we hope you and your family are safe. We are currently reviewing the changes in auto claims frequency for our customers. As always, your prior year’s mileage will be reflected on your renewal, so if you are driving less now the overall reduction in mileage will be reflected at renewal. If you have more questions please contact your independent agent. Thank you, Michael with Acuity.

You guys suck! We are paying $650 per month for 3 cars and 3 drivers. Since the pandemic we have contacted Acuity to remove the 18 year old driver because he is not driving right now and he doesn't own a car and Acuity has refused. But All State and American Family are refunding 15% of premiums

Business response:

Hi, Melissa. We appreciate your input and feedback. If you send me an email at customercare@acuity.com with your policy number, I'd be happy to look into this for you. Thank you. Michael with Acuity.

This place is terrible they give you the run around until they can’t anymore . When in an accident they think they only have to pay for body damage if there is something else wrong they will try not to pay for it . Then they wait until the day the car is “ready “ without any earning at 6 pm and have rental car place call and say they are only paying for a couple of the days that you’ve had the car .. which they can’t do . And then ignore emails and texts about the issues . You will need a layer if you have any run ins with t... read more

Increasing policy every year. Last year increased $100, and this year is increasing $230 more. I'm looking for a new auto insurance company now. Even I mail them why but they just mail me back to ask you an agency the reason.

Business response:

Thank you for sharing your experience, Takashi. Your feedback is very important to us. Please send me an email at customercare@acuity.com with your policy number, and a member of our claims team will be happy to review your claim. Regards, MC from Acuity

My car was hit by your insured and I have not heard from claim agent since the day after the accident. It has been over a month, so you know why it is taking so long? Claim # QR0828
