About this business

Acqua Al 2 DC is a great place to visit if you would like to taste some delectable flavors from Florence, Italy. The restaurant, established in 2010 by friends Ari Gejdenson and Ralph Lee, is a recreation of the original Florence restaurant that was set up in 1978. This restaurant in Washington, DC, is beautifully decorated in hues of brown with a yellow lighting covering the room in its warmth. Guests can dine on Italian meals on the breezy patio, while dining on pretty wrought iron tables and surrounded by colorful plants.

I highly recommend the 5 courses of vegetarian pastas. The cheesecake is incredible and the Tiramisu was the best I ever had! Also not expensive at all!

Hosted a party of 25, including 7 young children, at a 55th anniversary dinner for my folks and it was PERFECT. Food and service were impeccable. Not enough good things to say about this place.

One of the best Italian restaurants in DC! Authentic Italian cuisine (and I'm speaking as an Italian-American used to authentic home cooking) and a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a genuine Italian trattoria. Fantastico!

This was a suggestion by a friend and it was fabulous!!! Our server was wonderful and very attentive. She even went to find out more about a dessert item they she didn’t k is about either. It was fabulous! The food was divine. A must go if in the D.C. area!

Very good food, but it was not hot enough. My pasta dish was luke warm and the med rare blueberry filet was almost cold. Wine and dessert were very good. Reasonable prices, but food needs to be HOT!!!
