Best Facial & Massage in My Life – My husband and I were visiting family in Portland and I wanted to get pampered. I came across this business before we arrived but didn't think I could get an appointment while I was in town but the owner called me in Minnesota and had a space available. best facial in Portland – I guess I’m old school. I believe that caring for your skin now is more important then saving for face lifts and line fillers. In Los Angeles, I was a regular at Georgette Klinger. A facial at least every three months, always cleansing twice a day and using moisturizers. Moving to Portland, I searched for a new esthetician. The secret's out--this is an ideal spot to soothe the mind, body and spirit. – In Short Northwest Portland is full of salons and spas, but Acorn's location is unlikely--in a low-profile office building away from the trendy shops and restaurants. Best facial I've ever had.. – Having gone to many, many high-end spas in Europe and the states, I feel comfortable saying that Marie is among the top 2 estheticians I have ever seen (canyon ranch is the only other one which didn't leave me broken out and/or experiencing irritation). She is also amazing at eyebrow waxing--I've had several people comment on how perfect they are. I've been going to Acorn for several years now, and am sooo bummed that I'm moving to the east coast--if I could afford it, I'd bring her with me! :) ... read more
The Best Wax Ever – She put me totally at ease during the waxing appointment. I've had a few other bikini and leg waxes but she worked very quickly and it was finished in no time. Her technique is excellent and she was very nice. I highly recommend.
Ahhhhhh... Just found this place today. I am helping a friend plan her wedding. We have both been stressed. Today, while we were out, she shocked me with a facial! Yeah! This place was really nice and the facial was one of the best I have ever had! IF I am every back in the area I plan on stopping by again! I can't help it! I am a facial junky!
Not worth it for waxing – I didn't find her to be very friendly. The only time she smiled was as she took my money. For how expensive she is, better waxing can be found elsewhere.

Incredibly talented massage therapist / facialist ! Owner MarieSwan Black is indeed the Gem of the Pearl... at her spa facility conveniently located in Northwest Portland (with plenty of parking, which is a rare find!), you can indulge in a luxurious facial or an extremely therapeutic massage. You'll want to return again and again!
