Acme Sunshades has been in business since 1922. I called them based on this. After contacting them to replace our 20 year old Sunsetter awning fabric, they had me take some basic measurements and we set up an appointment for them to visit my home and evaluate the job. The representative, who I later learned was the owner, was very thorough testing and inspecting the unit. Great experience with Acme Sunshade. We contacted them initially to replace the fabric for a pre-existing awning on the house. We liked the work so much that we decided to add another awning in an area that gets a lot of sun and rain. They helped us think through the best design for the awning, the work was very well done and we are very happy with the end result.
Acme installed our KE Domina retractable patio awning, and it is AMAZING. We had involuntarily lost our old patio covering last fall, and the months between then and now were less than ideal.No shade, so the house would get hot & stay hot. Extra supports were needed between the eaves, & I was beyond impressed with the absolute craftsmanship of the work. Great experience from start to finish! Our house had a dome awning that had become a bit “weathered” over the years. Called a few providers but Acme was the most helpful. Prompt, courteous service.
