Our neighbor told us about Acme Sunshades and when we reached out to the team they were prompt in their response and helped us select the sunshade that best fit our needs. Chih Han was involved in the planning and installation along with his crew that worked hard on a hot day. The sunshade looks and works great and we could not recommend Acme Sunshades and their team more for your project. Photos are of the sunshade fully deployed and retracted - it looks great and blends into the roof perfectly.
The team at Acme Sunshades was excellent. They guided us through the various choices of sunshades, weighing the advantages and disadvantages. Once we selected the shade and the features we wanted, Han did a great job of setting our expections on the process. The installation process went smoothly, and the end result was a perfect cover for our back deck. It’s like we’ve added another room!

Our old awning had seen better days. This winter after the rains it finally it tore. We made a few calls around and found ACME. They were great. I took pictures of the old awning and sent it over. They scheduled someone to come out to take measurements, then they sent me a catalog of fabrics (colors/prints) to choose from. We set an installation date for two weeks and they got it done! We received extremely prompt and courteous service from ACME.
I’ve been a customer of Acme Sunshades for years, ever since they installed a large motorized awning at my home. Recently, I needed to temporarily remove the awning to have my roof replaced. With only short notice, I gave Chih—a true professional and the owner—a call. He promptly arranged for his crew to handle the removal on the exact day I needed.
