Jay refinished 60 year old hardwood floor that has been covered in carpet for at least 50 years. The wood floor looks new! The stain perfectly matched adjacent wood flooring that was refinished 20 some years ago. The transitions to tile floor in several doorways are perfect! Jay showed up on time, kept the work area sealed off to contain the sanding mess, communicated with us daily on the job status and finished the project right on schedule. I am thrilled with the results! I highly recommend Acme Floors!!
We have our 1918, college hill area, upstairs, 1,200sqft of Pine refinished by ACME with Jay and had a great experience from start to finish. Jay was very knowledgeable in the type of wood we have, he has that passion for what he does that shows in the finished product. The quality of the work exceeded the cost and our expectations. It was absolutely the best experience we have ever had in our life. On time, worked while he was here and it is beautiful result. he really had to work at getting the old floor out, but he stuck with it to the end. Jay is truly a professional.
