I received a message from Dr Ackerman that he is now retired. I have used Dr Ackerman for more than a decade. His office staff is great and he is easy to schedule, but most important is that he takes plenty of time for a thorough skin check and has a good eye for detecting problem spots on skin.

I have been to Dr. Ackerman several times, as has my wife. In contrast to the previous dermatologist that we had been visiting, he is very relaxed; the office doesn't seem so hectic and he never rushes you through an appointment. With our previous guy we always felt like we got about 4.5 minutes of attention, at which point he was dying to run out of the examining room. And he certainly knows his medicine!
