I had an issue with my merchant portal making my deposits, i explained the situation and did back and forth emailing with the department that handles rent payment and we agreed on a date for me to make the payment, I made the payment BEFORE the agreed upon date and I still got charged a late fee($500+) if i had known about that late fee I would've made something happen to make my rent payment and avoid that fee, but no where in our messages was that mentioned.
