Sushi Central – Fantastic place!! You come for the upbeat apmosphere and leave craving the amazing sushi.
Worst Japanese restaurant in town! – This may be the lamest sushi place I've ever been to. The waitstaff and the hostess had poor attitudes and seemed like spoiled college kids with no service experience whatsoever (Maybe Chili's isn't hiring). I'd say give it a miss! There are too many good sushi places in town to waste your time and money in a place like this.
fun party atmosphere with excellent sushi – my girlfriends and I visited Ace the other night and had a terrific time! Our servers were attentive and the food and sake delicious....what a scene! Quite a place for flirty men........be prepared for a wait.
The Worst – This place was the worst. Service is terrible, very expensive, noisy, sushi was horrid. I had to send back so much. I was referred to this place by friends what a disappointment. STAY AWAY!
A raucous hangout with a rocking Marina bar scene and California-style sushi. – In Short This festive restaurant is crowded almost every night with well-coiffed Marina locals. Starters include tofu-asparagus salad with miso vinaigrette, chicken or shrimp salad with spicy peanut sauce, grilled calamari with roasted pepper-miso aioli, and tempura spicy tuna. Specialty rolls range from the Ace Wasabi with crab, eel and macadamia nuts to the Three Amigos with tuna, yellowtail, eel and veggies.
Best in the City – I found this resturant on city search and since I love it, I feel I must rate them here as well. The sushi was excellent, the service was excellent, and for the city the price wasn't too bad. I will go back as often as I can find time!
What You See Is What You Get – Yes, it is loud. Yes, there are mostly stools and not chairs, except in the back room. But the sushi is fresh, fresh, fresh. The service is fast and the prices are reaonable (for sushi). I loved the Cajun Shrimp Roll. My husband was intrigued with the Spanish Mackeral and the Bonita. The U2 roll was large enough for three to share.
Too loud... – The food is fine, but the restaurant is too loud. I could barely have a conversation with my company the last time I was there. Made the mistake of not making a reservation- waited almost 2 hours for a table...
Order the Appetizers... – Great Appetizers, but the sushi does not stand out. Service was good and atmosphere is worth seeing.
