RecommendedWent in the store tonight and Lance was an awesome employee that helped me with everything that I needed. great selection and service
Employees avoid you like the plague if you're female. I couldn't get anyone to help me, but they could the man who came in after me. Guys can't get checked out in a timely manor because the woman on the register is too busy talking to another employee to pay attention. I won't be back.

I am so sorry you had this experience in our store. That is not up to our standards for customer service at all. Totally unacceptable. We regularly share customer feedback with our staff, and I will make sure we all know that we dropped the ball here.
They have always helped me as entered and always had the product I was asking for.
Way better than Clare. The general manager is much nicer and takes care of the employees. Don't go to Ace In Clare. Midland is where it's at!
My husband and I run our own business and I'm running to Ace multiple times a week to either drop of boxes for UPS or pick up supplies. The staff is very knowledgable and friendly. Especially Ron in the paint department!
well there employees will get in your face when you tell them that they are wrong and will also get in your face again if you step back then they will ban you from the store place is a joke
Apparently management believes it is okay to have one of their employees get in a 60 year old mans face and try to provoke him to fight... the 60 year old man stepped back three times to get away from the employee.. another employee sat and watched the aggressive employee step forward as the man was stepping back to avoid from getting punched by the aggressive moody employee... not only did ace hardware NOT apologize... they banned the old man from the store... how about that for service???? Amy, I can understand you might feel upset that someone you know was banned from our store. I can assure you the situation (which you were not a party to,) did not play out as you describe. The customer in this instance began cursing very loudly at our employee which escalated to threats of violence against our employee. The customer was so loud and so profane that another customer in the store had to remind him that children were present.
