Had a great chat and got some excellent gear to upgrade my bike. Alot of other places don't stock quite so many items to put the finishing touches on your bike, this one has plenty. It also is stacked with bicycle memorabilia and classic mementos, it's a cool place to look around.
Today, back puncture e-bike, foldable. Tony is a machine. Job done in an hour, a choice of tubes, chose the more expensive $20 one. All up $65! Another shop Face Book enthusiasts recommended wanted a starting price of $80 + and remarked he did'nt like my type of 'bicycle' and tried to upsell a basic service for a further $80 for the time it would take to dismantle the back wheel from the electrics to fix it! Go ACE Cyclery!!
Great local service. It was our lucky day, Tony had exactly what we needed on the spot : a new tyre for a vintage style bike, and a nice sturdy pair of pegs for the little guys' bike. Rad looking interior with many bikes and extras. Loved the little historic photo wall and hearing some stories of back in the day when the shop first started. Love seeing family businesses like this doing what they do best, serving their community and providing the goods. We'll be back for more parts when required. 👍🏽 Thanks Tony!
E-bike needed brake replacement, a pedal fixing and a wheel alignment adjustment. I also purchased a new seat. Took the bike in on Saturday morning expecting to wait a few days. However, it was fixed in a couple of hours and ready that morning. Warm, friendly service and the bike is travelling safely again. Highly recommended.
Great shop. Been there before to buy minor items. This time my gears were misbehaving. He immediately identified the problem, said how much it cost to repair, and when it would be ready. Ready on time, and charged just what he’d said.
