Got to be one of the worst experiences I've had in healthcare. The only person who provided good care was Dr. Edgar - he was thorough in answering my questions and genuinely seemed to care about the patient. Dr. Karina Shulman, on the other hand, was completely dismissive and harshly questioned why I was seeing a psychiatrist after 1) I had just spent the last hour explaining my most traumatic experiences from the last decade, and 2) my primary care doctor had REFERRED me. I had a really good experience with Accumen. The space feels calm and private, and the staff is genuinely warm and professional. Nothing felt rushed they actually take time to listen. I also liked that they offer both in-person and teletherapy, which made scheduling easier. Overall, it’s one of the few places that feels truly supportive and focused on real care.
