Please read before becoming a patient here: Psychiatric appointments are meant to be 15+ minutes depending on medical need. In reality, my most intensive sessions with Dr. A (Asongtia) averaged approximately 5 minutes, according to my logs. During my scheduled appointment times, Dr. A likely routinely double- and triple-booked Medicaid patients within the same few minute period, which directly resulted in these extremely short visits. The worst bed side manners I have ever experienced. In addition, provider repeatedly sent prescriptions to pharmacy without necessary information required to fill script. When I call provider to inform them of missing info and have them resend prescription, they act annoyed and drag their feet. This had led me being without my medication for weeks on end on multiple occasions. Plus side, font desk staff are lovely.

I've had some bad experiences with previous providers, but AHS has been very helpful!

When I was seeking treatment the pandemic was still in full swing so most of the treatment centers in my local area were not accepting new patients (or did not accept my insurance). Access Health was able to accept me as a new patient via their Telehealth service very quickly. Even though the treatment centers in my local are have opened back up I am sticking with Access Health, they are fast, friendly, and flexible with scheduling
