Losing a loved one is never easy, but the AccentCare staff made the process as smooth as it could be under the circumstances. My grandmother was being cared for by the AccentCare staff at Christiana Hospital and we are so thankful for that. They did such an incredible job providing us detailed information on what was happening and why. We never felt confused or like our questions were not being answered. I can't express how wonderful this company is. They were compassionate, caring and they took excellent care of my spouse. The nurses and care takers were great. They answered all my questions and when I thought she was concerned about change in breathing they came right out. The night she passed they were sympathetic and compassionate and out quickly. We had a terrible experience with this company. The social worker they sent was completely inept and caused our family a great deal of upset during a difficult time. I do not recommend this AccentCare Hospice at all.
I am very torn by this reveal that I'm about to post. The nursing staff has been amazing. They have taken wonderful care of my sick family member. That being said, the social worker assured us that they would be putting him into a facility the next day to help us with this. Then of course the next day comes around and we are told that we are on a waiting list and it can be as little as a few hours or as much as it days before there's a bed available for him.
