My brother was released from a SFN about two months ago. I was originally with a different respite provider but asked IEHP to send his referral elsewhere because the respite worker kept no showing and the agency would never call me to inform me. His referral was sent to accent care and in the two weeks of being with them he’s been seen once. He was authorized a bunch of hours and now I’ll miss out on those hours since they expire soon. Accent sent me an Aid who was old enough to be my older sister and was physically unable to catch me if I were to fall. When I called the company to ask them to send a younger, more capable person; again, they sent someone old enough to be an older sibling. Bear in mind, I am only 147 lbs, but with RA & Degenerative bone; trying to walk is a major task sometimes.
