Poor attitudes. Just had a terrible experience at the Academy Sports in Athens. Over the years I have certain bought in the mid 4 figures($) worth of merchandise from Academy. While the checkout process has never been their strong suit, today was inexcusable. As I approach the registers the customer service register is lit up - the only other one with an associate and customer at it was not. academy sports in Athens...👎🏻 don’t EVER order something online and go in store to pick up!!! Attitudes...the worst!!! Items you ordered...”they saw my order, (when we went to get it and leave), they no longer knew where my order was.” Then when you call a manager you sit on the phone for 15 minutes. Someone picks up and then hangs up. Again...when you ask about your order...the attitudes are RAGING!!!! Customer service was absolutely terrible. Worst experience of my life.

Did a little shopping yesterday and went by academy. Found an elliptical machine and a grill that we wanted. Went back to get them today. We may as well have been ghosts. Zero customer service. The one guy we did talk to about the grills, had the competency level of a grapefruit. Went in there prepared to drop almost a grand and walked out with nothing.

Worst experience shopping I have ever had. Shoe department was a disaster. There were shoes out of boxes in the aisles. Shelves in complete disarray. Nothing was organized and there were no associates around to help. I will never go back.
Lying on prices about what’s on the shelf and being higher when you get to the register and it’s not gonna work you are a foolish people for trying this
Hire some people that know what customer service is. Called in today and was asked to call back later because they were busy. I guess my business isn't important.
You people suck. You really do. I ordered this AM to pickup a weight set the website said you have in stock. Now, after 2pm you send me a text saying tough luck buddy.So I call your store, well, attempt to call your store and for over 40 minutes I am unable to reach a single person there. SMH. You people don't want my money? Good, I promise you that you'll never get another dime of my money.
