On 8/4/2020 at around 6PM there were over 60 people in line to check out and only 2 cashiers. The MOD was paged along with other cashiers and none of them ever showed. Seriously someone should be fired, it was that bad. The cashier had to leave her register to go and call out 3 other employees who are literally at the front of the store to come do their job and help as a cashier. This has become a major problem. The manager still had not shown up to the front by the time we got up to the register.....

They have a huge banner at the top of their page for their credit card. you apply and are approved you receive $15 off %5 off any further purchases and free shipping on orders $15 or more made on Academy.com site. false!!!!! I applied was approved then told nope your pool doesnt get free shipping. only reason i applied was to save on shipping bc they're out of stock in store. i will not be be accepting the credit card offer and will call commenity bank in the morning.
I understand things are tough right now and everyone is on edge but I do believe that the employees should still remain professional when checking customers out. They should not all be arguing in front of 50+ people and to top it off one of them was the blonde haired girl with glasses who was the greeter !

Clean, friendly store! Everything from shoes and boots to fishing gear and workout equipment. We looked at it all! Great selection of hand guns!!

Shout out to James, a store manager! I ordered cups on Black Friday for gifts and not paying attention got the wrong size. James let me swap them out and honored the Black Friday price for me so I didnt have to pay the difference in prices. Then when I got there we couldn’t find the cups. He searched the entire store till he found them!! Not many stores will go above and beyond like that.
