My experience with Academy Mortgage was my worst Nightmare. Took 8 months to get my house sold. Stephanie let the buyer be in control. Every time I called for a closing date (never would give me a a closing date). They would say it's at the underwriters that was every other week. NIGHTMARE. I said do you realize you have told me it's at the underwriters every time I have called.NIGHTMARE. From the beginning I asked Stephanie, if he does not qualify tell me now. Ohh he qualifies. Lots more to this story.

People talk a big game but Academy Mortgage backs it up. From start to finish they made our buying experience joyful and stress free. They kept us in the loop the whole time and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend anybody who is looking to buy a house to see them first!
Derek Egeberg and Daryn Edgar were a pleasure to work with! They were very helpful throughout the entire process and easy to get a hold of. They worked well with all the other entities involved and kept us up to date on the process which was very involved.
