Ten years earlier I had a dental abscess that got into my sinus in what is called the triangle of death. I was very fortunate to have follow up at UCLA. Ten years later that same taste and discomfort returned. After a year of this I called and saw Dr. Stakiw. I am so grateful that she took me seriously. By this time my bottom teeth were wobbly. They are now firmly in place just misaligned.
For about five years I had been avoiding regular visits to the dentist, but couldn’t keep going that way. Everybody at Academy Dental has helped me in my quest for happy teeth. Welcoming office staff, efficient dental assistants, skilled and thoughtful dental hygienists are the friendly competent team who are absolutely essential for a great dental practice.
