4th or 5th breakdown over 3 years. Essentially a starting capacitor problem. Charged twice for about $200. Unit cost over $10 000. For that much i could have bought 17 window units like i have for backup which cools the house perfectly. This is an Amana system. Last one was a Trane and absolutely no problems for 14 years. If this happens again i will call Amana and repost everywhere.
