Evan just refurbished my Sherwood S5500 that I've had since new, I can't believe the difference, it sounds phenomenal ! The depth and clear sound stage is amazing, you should never underestimate the quality of these vintage amplifiers, it was like an old friend and Evan brought it back to life.
Had work done on my Pioneer SG9500 EQ. It was a bit of a wait, as described when I dropped the unit off. Well worth the wait! I was called with pricing on what needed to be done and when I asked, was told the price for total rebuild. I opted for the full overhaul! I picked up the unit sooner than expected and was very pleased with the work done. I left with a beautiful EQ, a full list of parts replaced and all the old parts. Evan and his team at Absolute Sound Labs are the bomb! After vetting over a dozen audio repair facility around the country. I decided to send my Sansui AU717 to them for a complete restoration. Evan always answer my phone calls and explain the repair process in great detail. I can't say enough about the quality of their work. My Sansui has never sounded this good. I highly recommend Absolute Sound Labs for all your audio repair needs.
Had a mr78 tuner there a c34v preamp and a mc2255 Had nothing but problems with all their repair work i will never go there again I'll send my McIntosh equipment to audio classic had to take my McIntosh 2255 their 3 times and when the item was delivered my brand new face plate was damaged so I bought a nother face plate and they didn't reimburse me for the damaged
These guys are fantastic. My Pioneer SA-9800 died a sudden death 6 months ago, they brought it back to life sounding better than it has since the 80's. I'm very particular with my gear and this unit specifically is a family heirloom. Evan was upfront about pricing and gave an honest estimate for how long it would take.
