Do not go to this man. He turned me away when I was having kidney pain . I though I might have a kidney problem and he barely let me speak and told me that’s not kidney problem . A month later and a CT ordered by my GP and it turns out I had a mass on my kidney which was cancer .
I had cystoscopy done because I have blood in my urine, and was very disappointed in his bedside manner He explained nothing and was very short and abrupt when I asked questions If he spent 5 minutes during the procedure, that was a lot. He had no insight of why I had blood in my urine or what the cause could be, and what I should be concerned about in the future . Had to go to emergency room many times for catheterization urine blocked. Was always OK afterwards for say 6 months. Dr. Knoll told me I was not eligible for TURP--prostate too big. Nurse suggest give me a catheter for self use but he nixed it. Then I drove screaming in pain to Chilton emergency room at 3 A/M. Lay moaning for half hour before catheterization relieved symptoms. Went for MRI and was told I had an 11 mm kidney stone that had blocked flow. Dr. Knoll stopped by next day and said I had Kidney failure. Then next mo... read more
I was greeted by a very friendly staff while arriving on time. The facility is very clean and appears to have the finest equipment available. I did wait nearly 45 minutes before I saw Dr. Knoll but several of his staff did come in the examining room to perform required medical questioning and performing tests. I really like Dr. Knoll. Dr Knoll did not seem interested about what you had to say or the history of your problem. Physical exam took all of 30 seconds. Did not answer any questions you had. Several patients in waiting room all with same appointment time. If you are looking for a doctor who takes his time with a patient I would not recommend Dr Knoll.
Dr. Knoll is not helpful to his patients. I was looking for assistance and answers to my problem because it was reoccurring, and he talked to me for about one minute, with no help or guidance on how to fix the problem going forward. I will not be seeing him again.
Explained all my options very throughly for treating my prostate cancer and Kidney stone. Honest, compassionate and straightforward. Excellent Urologist!
I've been seeing Doctor Knoll for over 15 years. He is exceptional. He will answer any and all questions you have. He has performed several lithotripsies on me with great success and very good recovery period afterwards. I have experience with another local group which was not even worth rating 1 star. I have recommended Dr. Knoll to several others and they all love him.
