The place has always been a favorite of mine as the food is so wonderful but the following change in policy really lowered it in my review. Shame! Don't try asking Aberdeen Barn to substitute the Wedge of Iceburg Lettuce which is $6.00 on the menu for the Mixed Green Salad which is $5.00 on the menu, even if you offer to pay the upgraded price. All you will get is the Iceburg lettuce at the Ala carte price added onto your bill, so in essence it costs $11.00. It happened to me. The menu says nothing about no substitutions but... read more
