Decided to take my wife out last night as a surprise to her. She had never been to Aberdeen Barn so I figured it was a good opportunity. The meal was wonderful and the service was excellent. Of course you pay well for food and service like this however, once in a while it sure is nice.
Usually love this place ...Valentines Night was horrible. Limited menu, packed us in a tiny hot room in the back and away from music. Most horrible part was we were seated between two large and very loud parties. Had to run a football field length defense to get to the buffet, we didn't even want buffet, were seeking our reg relaxed served meal. Food was very overcooked. The food could not have been any better. The service was the kind of old fashioned excellent service that you hardly ever get anymore. The prices were pretty high and I wish they would offer a little less expensive option to go along with the higher priced items. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special occasion you will not be disappointed!
Best Filet Mignon and all the fixins. The baked potato was huge. The blue cheese dressing for the salad was so good too!! I love the sesame sticks and sharp cheddar in a little crock so good too. The never let your water get low and service was great.
