Great Place to enjoy LOBSTER, plus beautiful scenery !
Arrived at 8:15 pm and they were clearly checked out!! Very poor service!! Cold food for two of three kids and forgot half of parents order. When asked for anything ( i.e. Lobster crackers, missing ordered chowder, we were told no. Ok?! Bizarre experience!!
Not sure what happened since last summer but the lobster roll was tasteless. The steamers had more grit than taste. Left hungry. Will not go back.
We go every summer on the way to and from Newport, RI. Best meal of the year by far. I can't understand the complaints as we enjoy everything about the place, the food and the people. The lobster is TO DIE FOR and you can't beat the price, certainly in NY. We pack up everything we need for a major picnic experience, including wine and our own glasses. Sometimes we bring friends, sometimes it's just a romantic evening between the two of us. What, I ask you, could be wrong with that? 5 stars? I say give Abbotts a 10!
Great place to relax watching the boats on the water and enjoying a good lobster . Even better you can bring your own bottle of wine to sip while you eat. Wish I live close to them .
