good job Jimmy at AASTRO does all of my oil changes and auto repairs on both my Ford Mustang and my Chevrolet Tahoe. I have always been happy with the job they have done for me. I highly recommend them to everyone.
Long distance I have been bringing my vehicles to George at Aastro Transmission and Auto Repair, for the past 20 years. Prior to that, I took my vehicles to other service centers in town. Although I found many of them adequate, I often had to take the vehicle back to have them complete the work they were supposed to do. They rescued me My clutch went out on my car and I was stranded. A passer by called Astro Transmission for me. They arranged a tow truck, got me into the shop, gave me a ride home and fixed my car very fast.
Aastro is very friendly and professional I brought my car, 1999 Chevrolet Van, to Aastro because the engine was going to fast and there was a leak on my driveway where I park the van.. The did a test drive and filled out a form. Then they had the mechanic raise the vehicle on one of the 'lifts' and examine it from the underside. Then the mechanic wrote some things on the test drive form. The manager, Jimmy, asked if they could take off the transmssion pan and told me that there would be no charge for this. Very pleased with Aastro Transmission I came to this location as a last resort. Very fearful of high prices for transmission repair. I walked out very happy, as they were very informative, and honest. The job was competed must faster than expected, and I feel like I am driving a new car. I would definitely refer this company and look forward to returning if I ever have any other auto issues.
Great Service! I have taken both of my vehicles to George on 22nd St. for both major repair and regular maintenance. One vehicle was the clutch and the other was the transmission, talk about a pain, toss a couple of kids and all the woes of the past year in the mix and what could have been a disaster turned into two well maintained and reliable vehicles. Fixed mya/c now I am so cool Grat service at AASTRO every time I go there. My A/C went out so I went to AASTRO they found a leaky seal and had be back on the road the same day.I use aastro for all of my oil changes and other repairs it nice to know that they are a AAA aproved repair shop. I went there the first time to get my transmission fixed but i keep going back for every thing that comes up. I highly recommend the guys and girls at AASTRO.
good and honest shop james at aastro transmission saved me a ton of money when i was helping my sister fix her acura. what was going to be a 3700.00 repair turned into a 200.00 repair. i read some of the other reviews and i find it easy to believe the good and great ones. i would take the bad ones with a grain of salt, they may even be writen by a competitor. go and see for yourself, this is a good and honest shop.
