This property management company should be ashamed of themselves. The property I rented from them was deplorable. It was filthy and disgusting from the moment I moved in. In fact, they had to get a cleaning crew in (again) the day after I arrived. They told me they had a cleaning crew there for 10 hours prior to my moving in which had to be a flat out lie. A1 of Prescott is the worst decision we made. After only three months as the manager of our three-year-old condo, they "fixed" the toilet so it leaked and flooded one of the bedrooms. Then they tore out the bedroom carpet, and NEVER TOLD US! After 30 days of no showings, we decided to put it on the market. Our realtor discovered the damage. They wouldn't take any responsibility. Do not rent from this company. On move in the house was dirty, the lawn was not mowed, the electricity was not turned on and the hot water heater did not work. We were able to get the water on but later the tank quit working. They left my family to include my infant, three small children and my husband who is a 100% disabled Veteran without hot water for six weeks. A1 Properties really needs to listen to their tenants and follow the lease they have the tenants follow. I am a past tenant and was a good tenant mind you and was treated with no respect. Not only that but lied to and they are right on the edge of unlawful practices.If they fail to follow the lease its okay. But if you don't catch them then they get away with it. You have no recourse. From the begin they tried to raise my rent two weeks after I moved in then to the keeping of almost 1000 of my deposit on a professionally cleaned home with no damage. Their only response was the home owners wanted us to charge you more. Oh and by the way I didn't even get a chance to do a final walk through for them to show me the "problems" - avoid avoid avoid - you will be sorry if you don't. HORRIBLE! Unprofessional, rude and incompetent. Truly one of the worst experiences of my life.
