The owner came by to inspect our current HVAC system. He never returned with a quote or sent any other communication. We were recommended A1AC and the owner was very informative during the onsite inspection of our current system. Unfortunately, they never showed back up to provide a quote or sent any further communication. I'm not sure if we just fell off the radar but some form of communication would have been helpful. This happened way back in 2018, but I found the receipt and thought, wow. I called A1AC in the middle of winter because my heat stopped working. I was a struggling student at the time and didn’t have a lot of options. The technician showed up, quickly determined it was a bad thermostat, and swapped it out with a basic model. He was in and out in less than 10 minutes—but charged me $181.62 ($58 for the part, $120 for labor, plus tax). The receipt says he “inspected the furnace,” but what was there to inspect?
