quick, efficient, made the dentist no longer feel like the worst place in the world
I think I'm very lucky to have found her and I wish I had years ago. I'm more than a little phobic and she's so good with me I'd never see someone else.
Her receptionist, Lida, was also very friendly and helpful. I've found it fairly common that most doctor's offices have receptionists who seem to rather be doing anything else besides helping a patient. This was not the case here.
I would highly recommend Dr. Shekhtmeyster to anyone in NY looking for a good dentist. I actually moved to Brooklyn a couple years ago but still battle traffic to see her....enough said:)!
Amazing Dentist! Amazing view and so gentle with her shots. Dr Shekhtmeyster makes going to the Dentist a good experience. I always feel more educated about my oral health when I leave her office. She helps me to understand how prevention is the best way to go. I haven't had any teeth issues since I started seeing Dr Shekhtmeyster. She has a really great team as well I always feel so welcome when I come in.
I probably hold the world record for THE biggest dental phobia. I rather have my eyelashes plucked out one by one than step foot inside a dentist's office. Until I visited Dr. Raisa Shekhtmeyster. They were very understanding of my severe anxiety and did everything they could to accommodate it. (Laughing gas even when I got my teeth cleaning... yep.... that's how terrified I am). I have been coming to her office ever since I had teeth, and I have to say she is the best! She is very personable and really cares about her patients. Her office staff is also really enjoyable and friendly!
Dr. Shekhtmeyster and the staff were helpful and friendly. Office is clean and nicely kept. She thoroughly explains the procedure and answers any questions. Dr. Shekhtmeyster is very professional. Highly recommended!
Dr. Shekhtmeyster is wonderful. She's not going to convince you to do anything you don't need and she is super friendly. I really enjoy going to her and feel like I've gotten the best service possible after every visit. I can't recommend her more.
